We have a number of counsellors delivering their services from Fenwick Health and Wellbeing Centre as follows:
Jonathan Blease:
“I work through the stories4change counselling services to offer confidential counselling and support for life changes, relationships, challenges, conflicts and transitions. I trained as a humanistic, transactional analysis counsellor.
I work with a variety of different issues including abuse, anxiety, addictive behaviour, body image, depression (anger and mood change or disorder), eating disorders, loss (bereavement), relationships, self and identity, self harm, sexual issues, stress, trauma and violence.
The pressures we experience and take on can lead to a variety of different issues, which can hold us back from being who we want to be and living our lives to our full potential. Counselling encourages self-awareness and with greater self-awareness we are more able to recognise and heal the issues which limit and restrict us, thus giving us additional tools to be and live in balance and in health.”

Barefeet Counselling with Ally Level:
“Welcome to Barefeet Counselling. I am a Gestalt counsellor and offer individual counselling to adults and to young people. Some beliefs we hold about ourselves may affect the way we engage with the world, preventing us from living the lives we would choose.
I believe that each of us have the potential to facilitate this change but may at times need support, and encouragement to be curious in order to understand and accept who we are and what we would like from life.
During counselling our past experiences are acknowledged, but the focus is on the here and now which means looking at what these past experiences mean to you and how they affect your life today. If you would like to know a little more about me and how I work, my website is as follows – www.barefeetcounselling.co.uk or you can contact me on 07702 975150.
Sessions cost £50 per 50 minute session.

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a collaborative form of therapy that helps to understand problems that seem overwhelming, and aims to create positive thought patterns to help improve the way you feel. CBT has a strong evidence base and is used for a wide variety of mental health problems.
