We are therefore thrilled to congratulate Stephen on signing his own tenancy! marking a significant milestone in his journey towards independence. This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to Stephen’s resilience and the unwavering dedication of SCA Care in empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
Stephen’s journey is one of overcoming challenges and defying limitations. Previously deemed to lack the capacity to manage his tenancy he faced obstacles that many of us can only imagine. However, with the support, guidance and trust provided by SCA Care, Stephen has now begun to realise his true potential and live his best life.
SCA Care’s specialist care team is committed to supporting individuals to live a life with purpose and meaning. Recognising Stephen’s desire for independence and his ability to understand and retain information, the team were confident that he was showing the signs of having the attributes to pass the capacity assessment process and so together with Stephen, his family and his landlord they embarked on a collaborative journey, helping him navigate the complex requirements of managing his own tenancy.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Stephen on this significant milestone and also acknowledge the commitment shown by his SCA Care team to helping him reach his goal. With special mention to Stephanie Molyneux (Registered Manager), Maggie Fleet (Field Care Supervisor) and of course his outstanding team of staff we thank them for their dedication to fostering independence and inclusion.
