Stronger together – Options Wellbeing Trust joins Social Care in Action (SCA) Group

Not-for-profit health, wellbeing and care across the south

We are delighted to announce that Options Wellbeing Trust will now be part of the Social Care in Action (SCA) Group.

SCA Group is one of the leading health and social care social enterprises in the South of England. SCA Group provides home care, day care, advocacy, NHS dentistry, transport, health and wellbeing services to communities on a not for profit basis. Every penny made is reinvested back into the organisation and the wider community.

Options Wellbeing Trust provides counselling, training and development services in Southampton, Portsmouth, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Milton Keynes.

Options counselling provides support for individuals aged 18 and over with any number of issues. These can be from life changing decisions to the smallest, seemingly insignificant aspects of everyday life which can leave someone feeling confused, depressed and unhappy. In addition Options also provides free gambling counselling in partnership with GamCare.

Options training and development services provide training for organisations and individuals in recognising and managing health and wellbeing issues.

SCA Group CEO, Ruth Marriott said: ‘We are very pleased to announce that Options Wellbeing Trust have become a subsidiary of Social Care in Action.

‘We welcome all Options staff, customers and Trustees to SCA, and look forward to working with them in the future to grow and support their business.’

Options Wellbeing Trust Director, Nikki Keeley said ‘The coming together of two long established not-for-profit enterprises is mutually beneficial to both enabling us to extend and improve the range and reach of services we are able to offer and more importantly enhancing the service delivery to the communities we serve, we look forward to working together.’
