Leave a gift in your will
You can continue to make a big difference to the lives of other people, even after you have gone, by leaving us a gift in your will.
This kind act means that together we can make a real difference to improve health and wellbeing of as many people as possible within our local communities.
Regardless of how much money you may choose to leave us, we are extremely grateful for your generosity.
Rest assured we pride ourselves on working with the utmost integrity and mutual respect.
As a trustworthy, established charity we are happy to share where your money is being used should your relatives wish to know.
What gifts you can leave to Social Care in Action
- A specific amount of money (Pecuniary Legacy)
You can leave an amount of your choice to Social Care in Action. All you need to do is specify this amount in your will. - A part of your estate (Residuary Legacy)
Once you have considered your friends and family, you can leave us a part or all of your estate in your will. - An item – you may decide to leave us a particular item in your will, such as jewellery, collectables or items which would be useful to us in our work. You can request your gift be used for a specific purpose or allow us to use your gift where it is most needed.
If you wish to leave a legacy, we would strongly recommend you discuss this with family members and contact a solicitor or professional adviser.
Do you already have a will?
If you have already written a will but would like to leave Social Care in Action a gift, all you need to do is to make a codicil (an amendment). We recommend that you contact your solicitor about how to do this.
